Toyger

The Toyger is a designer breed created to resemble a miniature tiger with bold vertical stripes. Developed from Bengal cats and domestic tabbies, they combine wild looks with a gentle, outgoing personality. They're still a developing breed with standards evolving.

Toygers can be prone to heart murmurs and some cardiac conditions. As a newer breed, health data is still being collected. Buy from breeders who screen for heart conditions. Generally healthy with 12-15 year lifespans.

Their short, plush coat needs minimal grooming. They're active, intelligent cats who enjoy interactive play and puzzle toys. Many can be leash trained. They're social and do well with other pets and children.
