Snowshoe

The Snowshoe is a rare breed combining Siamese colorpoints with distinctive white 'snowshoe' paws. They're social, vocal cats who bond strongly with their families. Less intense than Siamese but equally loving and interactive.

Snowshoes may inherit Siamese health issues: crossed eyes (rare now), kinked tails, and dental problems. Some may develop heart issues. Generally healthy with 14-20 year lifespans. The white paw pattern doesn't affect health.

Their short coat needs minimal grooming. They're very social and don't do well alone—consider a companion. Provide lots of interactive play and puzzle toys. They're good with children and other pets.
