Munchkin

The Munchkin is famous for their short legs, caused by a natural genetic mutation. Despite their stature, they're agile, playful, and run surprisingly fast. They come in all coat types and colors. Their short legs don't slow them down!

Munchkins may be prone to Lordosis (spinal curvature) and Pectus Excavatum (chest deformity). Their short legs don't typically cause mobility issues. Some controversy exists about breeding for the trait. Lifespan is 12-15 years.

Grooming depends on coat type. They're active despite short legs—provide low-entry litter boxes and accessible climbing options. They may not jump as high but compensate with speed and ground-level agility.
