Highlander

The Highlander is a newer breed with curled ears and often a bobtail, bred from Desert Lynx and other breeds. They have a wild appearance but a gentle, playful personality. They're confident, social cats who love their families.

Highlanders are generally healthy, though as a newer breed, long-term health data is limited. Their curled ears need gentle handling and regular cleaning. Lifespan is estimated at 10-15 years.

Both short and longhaired varieties need regular brushing. Clean curled ears carefully. They're active, playful cats who enjoy interactive toys. Social and do well with other pets and children.
