Don Sphynx

The Donskoy (Don Sphynx) is a Russian hairless breed, genetically distinct from the Sphynx. Their hairlessness is dominant, unlike the Sphynx's recessive gene. They're friendly, intelligent, and love being the center of attention.

Donskoys can develop skin conditions and are prone to dental issues. They need protection from sun and cold. Some may develop heart conditions. Regular skin care and vet visits are essential. Lifespan is 12-15 years.

Regular bathing (weekly or more) is necessary to prevent oil buildup. Clean ears frequently. Protect from temperature extremes—they may need sweaters. Highly social and don't do well alone. Very active and playful.
