Devon Rex

The Devon Rex is an elfin-looking cat with huge ears, large eyes, and a curly coat. Discovered in Devon, England in 1960, they're often called 'pixie cats' or 'alien cats.' They're mischievous, playful, and love being the center of attention.

Devon Rex can be prone to Hereditary Myopathy (muscle weakness), Patellar Luxation, and Hip Dysplasia. Some develop skin conditions. They may also be prone to yeast infections in their ears. Regular health screenings are recommended.

Their wavy coat needs gentle weekly wiping rather than brushing. Clean their large ears regularly. They get cold easily and may need sweaters. They're food-obsessed and will steal from plates—monitor their diet carefully!
