Colorpoint Kurzhaar

The Colorpoint Shorthair is essentially a Siamese in non-traditional colors—red, cream, tortie, and tabby points. They share the Siamese personality: vocal, intelligent, and demanding of attention. They bond intensely with their owners.

Colorpoint Shorthairs share Siamese health concerns: dental issues, heart conditions, and respiratory problems. Some may develop eye issues. Regular vet care is important. Lifespan is 12-16 years.

Their short coat needs minimal grooming. Very social—don't like being alone. Vocal and will 'talk' to you constantly. Need lots of mental stimulation and interactive play. Consider getting two.
