Siamese

The Siamese is one of the most ancient and recognizable cat breeds, originating from Thailand (formerly Siam). With their striking blue almond eyes, pointed coloring, and vocal personality, they're impossible to ignore. Siamese form intense bonds with their chosen humans.

Siamese cats can be prone to respiratory issues, dental problems, and Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). Some may develop amyloidosis or certain cancers. They're also prone to compulsive behaviors like wool-sucking. Regular vet visits are important.

Their short coat needs minimal grooming—weekly brushing is enough. They need lots of mental stimulation and interactive play. Consider getting two as they don't like being alone. Be prepared for their vocal nature—they will 'talk' to you constantly!
