European Shorthair

The European Shorthair is Europe's equivalent of the American Shorthair—a natural breed developed from ordinary European cats. They're independent, intelligent hunters who bond with their families while maintaining a self-sufficient nature.

European Shorthairs are extremely healthy with virtually no breed-specific conditions. Their diverse genetic background keeps them robust. One of the healthiest cat breeds with 15-20 year lifespans.

Their short coat needs minimal grooming. They're adaptable, independent cats who handle alone time well. Provide hunting toys and climbing opportunities. They're good mousers if given outdoor access.
