The Cyprus cat is one of the world's oldest domesticated cat breeds, with evidence of cats on Cyprus dating back 9,500 years. They're a natural landrace adapted to the Mediterranean climate. Friendly, intelligent, and excellent hunters.

Cyprus cats are extremely healthy with no breed-specific issues. Thousands of years of natural selection has made them robust. One of the healthiest cats with 15-20 year lifespans.

Their short coat needs minimal grooming. They're adaptable, independent cats who are good hunters. Social with families but self-sufficient. They do well in various climates.
