Chausie

The Chausie is a hybrid breed created from crossing domestic cats with the Jungle Cat (Felis chaus). They're large, athletic cats with a wild appearance but domesticated temperament. High-energy and intelligent, they need experienced owners.

Chausies can have sensitive digestive systems—many don't tolerate grain-based foods. Some may develop intestinal issues. Early generations may be prone to male infertility. Find a vet experienced with hybrid cats.

Their short coat needs minimal grooming. They need lots of exercise and mental stimulation—not for first-time owners! Provide tall cat trees, puzzle feeders, and lots of interactive play. Many can be leash trained.
