Health

Australian Mists are generally very healthy with few breed-specific issues. Some may develop skin allergies. Robust breed with 14-19 year lifespans. One of the healthier purebred cats due to diverse genetic background.

Care & Grooming

Their short coat needs minimal grooming. They're adaptable, tolerant cats who do well with children and other pets. Moderate activity level—enjoy play but also happy to relax. They can be indoor-only cats quite happily.
